To provide a base of discussion on major subjects under the BS IT program , students of the BS Information Technology are scheduled to visit the Department of Science and Technology, Bayantel and First Web Academy to observe and experience the information technology industry on November 24, 2011.
As the information technology requires its future professionals to be always abreast with current innovations and trends, the trip is designed to show the students what it is like to actually work in the field they have chosen. To be exposed in a learning environment beyond the four walls of the classroom will provide the students the “sneak-peek” of the work place they will be in a few years’ from now.
South Mansfield College aims to inculcate in the students the core competencies of the information technology sector through education; it also conditions the students to seeing the bigger picture and placing themselves as part of it.
