SMC Royal receives Silver as recipient of 10 MOST

South Mansfield College equips students the necessary skills and values to become movers of society through the AVID (academic excellence, values excellence, interpersonal sensitivity, and drive and discipline to achieve) in a vibrant and caring learning environment. Students are exposed to different experiences where they grow not only as intellectuals but also as men and women with hearts of service. With the growth mindset and grit that the school would like to inculcate, students develop the character of high effort, passion, and perseverance.

Last March 24, 2022, Marie Gabrielle Opiña of Grade 10 Resilience competed in the 2022 Ten MOST sponsored by the City Government of Muntinlupa and was chosen as a recipient of the prestigious award. Abbie ranked high in the IQ test and in the talent competition and interview where she got the nod of the judges with her wit and intelligence.

Abby, as she is fondly called, is a consistent academic awardee and a campus leader. She is currently the Supreme Student Council’s Vice President for Internal Affairs. Having the interpersonal sensitivity, she took on leadership roles that teenagers of her age would just dream about. Together with her friends, Abby co- founded the Bridges Organization, a youth organization which aims to create a bridge so that people can walk towards the other side and see the perspective from across, in order for individuals to relate, understand, and empathize.

The ‘Ten Muntinlupa Outstanding Students (MOST)’ gives recognition and honor to talented and academically excellent students in all public and private high schools of Muntinlupa.
