SMC Royal garners Bronze in 10MOST 2020

South Mansfield College provides the students with different experiences where they grow not only as intellectuals but also as men and women with hearts of service. With growth mindset and grit that the school would like to inculcate, students develop the character of high effort, passion, and perseverance.

Ann Margareth Tapac is a full-blooded Royal. She entered the portals of South Mansfield College 12 years ago as pre-school student. Since pre-school, she had joined all the school’s major activities from sports to performing arts. In high school, she was a member of the Royals volleyball varsity where she represented the school in sports competitions. Gayeth also brought prestige  to SMC through her winnings in academic competitions.

This year, she brought home SMC’s first international award when she joined the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions in Yale University by winning 1 gold medal and 4 silver medals in Scholar’s Bowl, Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, and Team Debate.

Prior to her Yale University experience, Gayeth won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the Manila Round of the World Scholar’s Cup. Gayeth also joined the YMCA National Convention for several years and gained insights on parliamentary procedures and in drafting resolutions.

Recently, Gayeth garnered Bronze in 10MOST 2020 creating a stamp that SMC is a top school in producing outstanding students in Muntinlupa. Gayeth joins the ranks of Lester Englis (10MOST 2015),  Dianne Villena (10MOST 2018), and Miguel Secuando (Bronze, 10MOST 2019).

It is indeed a three-peat for South Mansfield College—School of CHOICE in Muntinlupa City!
