Ladia and Espejo win in the SGEN Debate Cup

South Mansfield Royals have once again exuded their skills in English communication and Last February 12, 2022, Amatheus Ladia (Grade 10 Resilience) and Celena Espejo (Grade 12 Excellence) competed in the SGEN Debate Cup and bagged First Runner-Up.

Celena and Amatheus demonstrated their skills in the art of argumentation, articulation, and advocacy skills. They bested students from Stonyhurst Southville International School Malarayat Campus, Southville International School and Colleges, and the Asian SEED Academy of Technology.

The SGEN Debate, organized by Southville International School and College (SISC), aims to foster camaraderie among high schools students in SGEN Schools and promote critical thinking as well as the development of oral communication
skills.

SMC students qualify for the International Math global finals

South Mansfield College Royals once again proved that excellence in Mathematics is within their reach.

Twelve (12) students across levels showed that they can be on a par with international standards in Mathematics as they obtained certificates and are qualified for the Global Rounds of the Singapore . Their impressive performance in the 2021 SINGA Math Competition gave them the ticket for the global rounds.

Singapore Math is renowned worldwide however to stay at the top , it needs constant energy and challenge that gave birth to SINGA Math. The global finals will be on February 27, 2022.

Royals bag Gold Award in the 2021 Muntinlupa City Virtual Robotics Fair and Exhibit

The Royals proved once again that they are competent and skilled enough to build a robot capable of addressing a problem or issue related to disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM). Amos C. Cruz (Grade 9), Marie Gabrielle C. Opiña (Grade 10) and John Patrick E. Britanico (Grade 11) were successful once again in securing the Gold Award during the Robotics Competition and Exhibit for thinking and proposing out-of-the-box solutions that would aid humans in performing tasks by developing a robot that would extend as an intelligent tool in resolving DRRM-related problems.

Royals join the African International Model United Nations Delegation

The selected South Mansfield College students from junior and senior high school divisions participated in this year’s African International Model United Nations Delegation. The event happened on November 6 and 7, 2021. Our students transcended in the AIMUN 2021 despite the different time zone. Sleepless nights and a long period of preparations for the conference have paid off.
