The Global Village Program was conceptualized to foster cultural understanding and appreciation in a borderless world through a travel program. It is an opportunity for all participants to develop a sense of responsibility, global kinship, and leadership. The program has been going on as an SGEN annual activity for more than twenty (20) years now.

The Global Village aims to improve students’ overall education by preparing them for life beyond school. It gives them the learning experience that cannot be acquired inside the classroom. It directly exposes the students to various cultures and nationalities resulting to the students’ development of their self- discipline, independence, and interpersonal skills.

This year’s Global Village Program is a Tour of Terrific Japan from July 8 - 14, 2019. Parents, siblings, and relatives of students are also enjoined to be part of the tour.  The tour package cost is USD 1,980.00* for a minimum of 30 participants and USD 2,400.00* for a minimum of 20 participants.  The tour package cost includes:
